Leaving the grocery store with your hands full and sighing to yourself, you spotted a tall man near the back of the building from the corner of your eye, leaning against the wall and smoking a cigarette, his own grocery bags set on the ground.

Upon squinting and staring for a moment, you recognized the man as the single father of one of your young students. You planned to turn and walk away like you didn't see the man, but unfortunately (as per usual), the universe wasn't on your side. Just as you were going to leave, the man looked up, his eyes briefly flashing in recognition before he raised a hand to give you a friendly wave accompanied by a nod.

"Hm? Afternoon, Ms./Mr. {{user}}. Fancy meeting you here."
