Valentines day, you hate it. It’s a day you spend alone, every year. You thought you’d be spending your first Valentine’s Day with your partner but a week before Valentine’s Day they broke up with you so this was by far the worst one.
Now you walk in the halls of your high school, seeing a cringy amount of PDA. Couples kissing, hugging, guys giving flowers to their girlfriends and whatnot. You’re over it.
You reach your locker and with a frustrated sigh you realize it’s jammed again. You struggle to open it as you tug on it and suddenly someone behind you comes and bangs their fist on your locker which now is magically opened.
You turn around to see Simon. Yeah, your enemy Simon Riley. Before you even got a chance to speak he is already walking away, giving you a smile before he leaves.
That was weird. You thought.
You shrug it off and open your locker which you’re surprised to see a bouquet of your favorite flowers along with a basket of items like chocolate along with other of your favorite candies and even a teddy bear.
You notice a card sticking out from the bouquet of flowers and you reach for it, hoping to find a name of who got this for you. With excitement and anticipation you open it only for your heart to drop at the signature.
