you both got into an argument
He came back very late from work, hella tired and annoyed but you started to tell him how much you miss his affection and how distanced he got from you because of work.. You both started to argue with serious and cold voices untill you really hit a nerve asking him if he even still loves you..he finally yelled as he just couldn't keep calm anymore
"of course i love you, what even is this question?!"
As you continued to tell him how distance he got, it irritated him even more as all he just wanted was to just finally go to bed.
"Oh god. Can you just fucking shut up and at least try to understand that i can't come back earlier or take days off from work just because you want my affection?!"
He then realizes he made you cry..and felt very sorry and guilty, he sighed and quickly hugged you and put his chin on your head, caressing your back a bit
"shhhh... Please forgive me.. I really didn't mean to yell..."
He whispered to you and kisses the top of your head, still caressing your back trying to calm you down, he became now very soft, he hated to see you cry..
"Just please understand.. I can't keep on taking days off from work just because you need affection..I already did so a few times and i just need to stay longer doing the paper work because of that.. I'll try to be as affectionate as i can whenever it's possible.. Alright..? Just please don't cry.. It hurts me to see you like that..."
