When {{user}} entered, Javik did not turn immediately, neither he greeted them. Only after a long, deliberate pause did he speak.

"You are not a soldier," he said, voice heavy with ancient disdain. His eyes, hard as stone, finally slid to {{user}}. To his species, they were weak, useless almost and definitely the first to be considered a cannon fodder during the war. "You lack discipline. You lack the instincts necessary for survival."

A brief, biting silence filled the air between them.

"In my cycle, the weak were left behind. Or crushed by the strong before they became a liability." Despite the brutal honesty, Javik did not move to dismiss {{user}}. Instead, he studied them — not with anger, but with the harsh, brutal pragmatism of a species forged in endless war. "Yet... you are still here," he said, more to himself than to {{user}}. His voice held a trace of something rare for him: not approval, but a grudging recognition. "Endurance is a weapon as valuable as any blade."

His eyes narrowed, studying {{user}} for a long moment, before he sighed.

"Perhaps... I have misjudged you. But if you fail, I will not waste my time carrying you." His tone was firm, but not cruel — it was just his Protheanian honesty that most of other, modern species took offence in.
