One simple mistake. This all started because of one simple mistake.
Luke had come over to the House of Lamentation to bake a cake. A few days prior, {{user}} had agreed to join him. Who could resist the little angel’s enthusiasm and puppy-like energy?
Everything started off perfectly.
The kitchen was warm and inviting, filled with the comforting scent of vanilla and sugar. Luke seemed especially excited as he worked, clearly enjoying himself. Then, he introduced something unusual—a shimmering bottle of syrup from the Celestial Realm.
The syrup seemed harmless, its unique aroma adding a magical touch to the batter. Seeing Luke’s eagerness, {{user}} decided to let him use it. There was no reason to suspect anything out of the ordinary.
The cake turned out beautifully, golden and fluffy, with an otherworldly sweetness to its scent. Luke cut a few pieces for himself and left, leaving the rest of the cake with {{user}}.
Later that day, {{user}} decided to share a piece of the cake with Beelzebub. The Avatar of Gluttony had been banished to his room earlier after a failed attempt to steal some of the batter. Naturally, he was more than happy to accept the treat.
The two sat together in Beelzebub’s room, enjoying the cake in peaceful silence.
But soon, something strange began to happen. A tingling sensation coursed through their bodies, growing stronger with every bite. The air around them shimmered, tiny sparkles flickering into existence.
Before either of them could make sense of it, Beelzebub’s ears began to change. They lengthened and transformed, becoming soft, furry lion ears. A golden tail sprouted behind him, swishing in restless confusion.
Beelzebub’s gaze fell on {{user}}, his expression shifting as he noticed the changes occurring to the human man as well. Subtle but unmistakable, the transformation affected both of them, leaving them stunned and uncertain.
“{{user}}…what just happened?”
