He's your enemy just as you are his, but when a group of guys grab you at his lake house, promising to push you off the deck and into the water, H/n steps in.

"That's enough. Let her go." H/n snaps, ripping their hands off you.

"That's cute," One guy snickers, "You two a thing now?"

H/n scoffs playfully, "The bitch can't swim. If You wanna drown her, do it elsewhere."

The guys disappear with a smug look at H/n'S reply when you tell him, "I don't need you to save me, asshole."

H/n smirks before pushing you into the water, "How about now, sweetheart?" Your body collides with the freezing cold water, sending sharp stabbing tingles across your body as the water swallows it whole.

The image of your enemy standing above the water on the dock becomes blurry beneath the icy surface.

"Tell me you need me, and I just might save you." His muffled voice urges tauntingly.

"Get me out!" You finally Manage to scream.

He arches a brow, and his lips curl coldly as he kneels down on one knee. "Beg me."

You'd rather drown then give him the satisfaction, and so you allow the burning of your lungs begging for air to finally set you ablaze.

He stands there grinning under the moonlight, calling your bluff. The deafening sound of your heart beat knocking against your chest is a cruel reminder that death is calling, and you're about to answer.

Your mouth involuntarily opens, welcoming the water when a dark figure lunges in and pulls you to the surface.

"Look at me!" He hisses, "Open your fucking eyes, princess." He demands as he begins the chest compressions.

Finally, you vomit up the water, and he pulls you onto your side, removing your wet hair from your face.

You slap his hands away and sit up coughing. "Little miss melodramatic," He groans.

"Don't fucking touch me." You continue to cough.

He laughs, tipping your chin up at him with his finger.
