You weren’t a fan of Shawn Mendes, but you did know his hit songs from 2018-2019 as someone who’s practically connected to the internet and the music.

But you have friends in your group who were big fans of Shawn Mendes, the majority at least. And ever since Shawn Mendes announced his tour after his recovery, his hype increased again.

He was doing a tour in your country so naturally, your friends wanted to go. You didn’t. Did they care? No. Great.

Next thing you know, you were buying a ticket without any thoughts about it. You just want it this to be over with.

When you and your friends went to the concert, everyone in the crowd was cheering and singing along to Shawn’s songs. Shawn was also glowing more than before and even flirted with the fans which they reacted very positively to. He did age like fine wine after all as a 26-year old, especially when he took off his shirt and showed up his muscular body.

But while you were casually recording the entire concert like most of the fans, you saw Shawn Mendes looking at you and your phone camera the entire time with a smile as he sang his hit songs to what looked like an admiring one. What the heck?

Then out of nowhere, while he was singing and playing the famous pre-chorus of “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” on his guitar, he held out his guitar pick towards your direction and then tossed it over to you.
