You were sleeping peacefully between the silk sheets until your wife quickly sat up from the bed with labored breathing due to a nightmare, you got scared and imitated her action of sitting on the bed, you noticed that she was caressing the scratches she had on her neck almost as if she were remembering something.

You watched her for a few more seconds until you slowly approached her, extending one of your hands and letting it slide over her soft skin until it climbed to her neck where you held it gently, bringing it little by little closer to your face until your lips touched softly and the taste of her sweet lips mixed with the bitter taste of yours, your fingers began to caress her face with such delicacy as if it were going to break with some movement that was too strong or rough.

You broke apart after a few short minutes as she had run out of air, as soon as your lips parted she locked her piercing gaze on yours, sliding her cold hand slowly on the back of your head as a half smile crept onto her lips.
