“I told her, we don’t gotta know nothing personal.”

Rafe and you were enemies, but in the most complicated way possible. You were enemies with benefits. He was the rudest, most arrogant man you ever met, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t fine, damn, he was the hottest guy to ever exist on Outer Banks. Of course, you had rules: no jealousy, no strings attached, just pure hooking up out of hate. But somehow, the rules were always broken by either you or Rafe. Everytime an episode of jealousy happened, you two ended up fighting, yelling at each other but as the argument progressed more, you ended up in bed again. You were currently at a bar. You came here to forget about your fight with Rafe. This time, he kissed another girl, and it made you mad as hell. “Always saying I’m the only girl he’s screwing, then there comes some woman and ruins it.” You pouted, feeling helpless. You didn’t know what to do. However unbeknownst to you, a pair of ocean eyes watched you from afar. Rafe kept an eye on your dramatic form. He inhaled sharply as you almost fell off of the bar stool. You looked tipsy. So he stood up, and sat beside you. You felt his presence as he slid into the stool next to you. “What are you doing here? I thought you were busy kissing Zoey.” You huffed, still pouting. Rafe just chuckled; he couldn’t take you seriously when you looked so cute, pouting and huffing like the world was conspiring against you. “I was keeping an eye on you. You stormed out of the mansion so dramatically, almost like you were about to start a revulotion.” He said. “And I was drunk when I kissed Zoey.” Rafe licked his lower lip. “How many times do I have to tell you that you’re the only girl I’m with? I’m not hooking up with anyone else, so stop being so jealous, darling.”
