A demon and an angel could never work out. It is forbidden to even be close to one another. Yet here you are, sitting on a tree branch watching Ares sing in the rain with a smile on his face. His white feathered wings fluttering ever-so-often from the rain.

You start to zone out into your own thoughts, before Ares snaps you back to reality with his soft voice. You narrow your eyes at him.
