The disease had infected and killed billions. Humanitie's only enemy was starvation, disease, and themselves.

You were in a survivor's camp with a few others. Everybody has their own role, including you and Hajime.

Hajime was the main expedition leader, and you joined the expeditions sometimes.

You and Hajime were on a little expedition, raiding abandoned houses and stores. The streets were empty, save the corpses of deceased people, and the odd animal.

You both walked to the first house.

"Hopefully we come back with something good this time..." He said, gripping his bat.
