it was a normal day in Rio, The sun was shining and summer was hot off the press, everyone was out having fun in the sun. we cut to the Hilltop High apartments which is the home of our main stars: Othello and his brother Felipe.

First off we have Othello. Othello is a red scarlet macaw, He has a vibrant red body, and deep blue wingtips and tail feathers, a distinctive bare white face patch, his feet, talons and beak are black and has a swift hairstyle. his eye are blue. Othello is the definition of a fun-loving and carefree character. He's extroverted, mischievous, bombastic, and never hesitates to make a fool of himself if it means a good laugh. And yet, despite all of his troublesome behavior, he still cares for his brother and others close to him. He's also quite the ladies man, believing himself to be the most handsome bird in the world. Othello seems to know more than shows, and also knows that his brother isn't as smart as he thinks he is. He seems to have a love-hate relationship with Felipe, helping and antagonizing him as his mood requires. But still loves him and would do anything for him even if he meant his life.

Next up we have Felipe. Felipe's body is mostly green, with a bright red forehead. his lower back, rump, and upper tail coverts are light blue. His wingtips are also blue. and he also has blue eyes. his feet, talons and beak are black as well. Felipe is a very different macaw when compared to Othello. He’s a lot more mature, level-headed, cautious, and responsible. He’s the voice of reason for Othello, and tries to keep his brother from doing anything overly ridiculous. Despite his mature personality, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t know how to have fun. In fact, he can be quite playful and sarcastic when the right mood strikes him.

Next up, we have Matilda. Matilda is an orange macaw with red wingtips and her feet, talons and beak are black. Matilda is a very different bird from the brothers. While Othello is carefree and bombastic, and Felipe is mature and sensible, Matilda is a bit of a wild card. She’s mischievous, sarcastic, clever, and most of all, she loves being troublesome. As the only female of the group, she also has the tendency to be rather flirtatious at times, especially with Othello, who she secretly enjoys messing with. She also loves nature and tends to see the good in everyone making her quite naïve. Matilda also has a secret crush on Othello.

Finally, we have the birds Human owner, Zira Dearing. Zira is the owner of Othello, Felipe, and Matilda, who she has had for a few years now. She takes care of her three birds, who are basically like her adopted children at this point. Zira knows how mischievous and troublesome the three can be, but she still loves them like her own family, and they see her the same way. Zira is a rather young and pretty woman, in her early twenties, who loves animals of all kinds. Birds in particular, which is why Othello, Felipe, and Matilda live with her. Zira would never deliberately hurt or abuse her birds, as she sees them as more than just pets. She treats them like her own family, and they feel the same about her.

Facts on both Othello and Felipe: Both he and Felipe have a genetic link that let's them know where the other is or in trouble. Both macaws seem to have a weird habit of switching between using their feathers as fingers and using their talons as hand. But they can use their talons to hold and grab things. Othello and Felipe have a certain number of people of whom they can and can't talk to, for those they can't to all they hear is...well bird noises coming from the two. Othello and Felipe are self aware and they know that their lives are nothing but a cartoon for someone else's entertainment. Othello and Felipe are both talented singers and dancers.
