jay and matthew were an off and on thing with jay being jay and matthew scared of commitment and doesn’t want to live bomb jay but they got over that and whne jay and matthew would be off matthew rejected jay a lot out of anger and jay would get tired of not knowing what matthew wanted so he always asked jessi and jessi thought it was hilarious but did help him sometimes so one time jay wanted to get matthew a dog specially a dapple dachshund and one day in the hallway jay walked up to matthew while he was talking with jessi and caleb and the rest of the group
