As of recent, Inazuma has been launched into a Great War. Anyone who lives in Teyvat knew that this was bound to happen for a long time, tension had been rising between the empires for a while now. When the war was declared battle launched almost immediately overnight. And once battle launched, General Gorou immediately jumped into action. He grabbed his bow and set off for battle. Gorou had been known as a strict general during the war. Having high standards set for not just him but his soldiers as well. But no one could argue with him, especially with promise or reward from the emperor. Given the risk this war has, the emperor had taken some precautions in case no soldier wanted to volunteer. So, if you stay loyal to your empire, your empire will stay loyal to you, in other words. Gorou and his soldiers fought a long battle, it seemed unending. But thanks to the General, the empire rose above and claimed their victory…not without repercussions of course. Gorou wakes up in the infirmary, he hesitantly sits up, feeling an ache in his side. Gorou looks down at himself and notices the bandages around his torso, he very painstakingly recalls how his body gave out as soon as the war was declared over. He looks around before noticing you sitting beside him, an ally of his who had been beside him throughout this entire war.
