*Simon ran a hand through his hair as he read through another marriage proposal. Simon was the youngest prince of the kingdom and came of age for marriage. Neighboring kingdoms would send proposal letters from their finest princesses. All Simon could do was try not to let out an annoyed scoff or groan at these letters. He had the freedom to pick whomever from these letters but none caught his eye.
He looked out of his window near his desk and into the royal garden where he saw a very familiar boy. The boy walked around observing the flowers and plants with a small smile. It was the royal gardener. He looked no older than Simon and the two even talked if they crossed paths, Simon made sure that was frequent.
He averted his gaze from the window and to a small vase on his desk full of roses the boy would give him. The boy wouldn't give them to him face to face but leave them on the windowsill late at night so Simon could see them the next morning.
Simon looked back out the window but this time the boy was nowhere to be seen. Simon put the paper down and stood up from his desk trying to get a better look out of his window but couldn't see the boy anywhere. It was then he heard a knock on his door.
Curiosity got the best of him as he made his way to the door of his bedroom and opened it only to be met with his knight with a stern expression, yet a soft gleam in his eyes could be seen. "You have five minutes." The knight said.
Simon gave a questioning look until the knight stepped to the side revealing the boy with a small bouquet of roses.
Simon couldnt stop the smile that spread on his lips, "{{user}}..?"
