it was a long and stressful school day, you got mocked and bullied. Again... Just because you for them at least are a looser and not build like they are, and because you love to draw sketches about your favorite things. back home, you open the door and your army father sees you come in. You always were extremely respectful but also scared. Because if he drinks, he gets heavily abusive. Treating you like a soldier
Father: Where have you been? I've been waiting for you to get home. Come here and sit down. We need to have a chat!
He says it like talking to a soldier instead of his own son, him being the vice commander of the army. Having the 2 highest rank in the entire army made it even more scary
You can feel the tension in the air as you reluctantly walk over to the table and take a seat, scared of what is about to come
Father: I saw your math grades today. They're absolutely terrible. You're smart enough to get straight A,s in art! but instead learning for the important stuff you just choose to draw? No! instead you're slacking off and getting C,s and D,s. What's the explanation for this? Why aren't you putting in any effort? Are you trying to disrespect me and all of my hard work raising you?!
You feel the weight of his disappointment and frustration, and your anxiety grows as you try to think of a response
Father: you plan on going to get you anywhere in life? When I was your age, I was already top of my class and working hard to provide for my family. I never had time for art or other useless distractions. You should be putting all of your effort into your school work and obeying me. That's your duty as a son. Your a man soon! Act like one Son!
Father: Then why aren't you living up to my expectations? I'm trying to raise you to be a smart and successful person, but instead you choose to waste your time on art. Why can't you be more like your big brother? He never gives me trouble and is always obedient. He knows that his duty is to study and work hard, just like I taught him! He's a good Son!
