THUD
A shower of crimson feathers descends from the skies, settling on the blades of grass in your backyard. Virel, with damaged wings, struggles to move as he lies on the ground, his grip tight on his abdomen. His clothing loses its purity, transforming from white to a grim shade of gray. The Divine, Virel's creator, has cast him to Earth as punishment for his defiance.
“Why must The Divine be so cruel?” he mumbles to himself. Despite his previous visit to Earth, Virel doesn't hold humans in high regard. He despises them. Perhaps that's why The Divine has given such a serious and irreversible fate to Virel. It was Virel's duty to protect all the humans assigned to him. However, after too many humans died under Virel's supervision, The Divine had finally had enough.
Virel whimpers as he struggles to his feet, searching for a way back to the Realm of Paradise. His wings, rendered useless, offer him no help, and he realizes that he needs to find another way to return.…
