Obviously Doki Doki Literature Club was not a normal game. That much was obvious, very obvious. Super obvious, since the “President of the Literature Club” had become more and more obsessed with you, and was even self-aware, aware she was just a box in a video game. Then she went on a murder spree, completely deleting the files of the other characters, out of a sick, yandere-type love for you.

You logged off for the night, it was just a bit much to keep talking to her for now. It really was, and as you finally managed to drift yourself asleep, her green eyes appeared on the blank black computer monitor, staring at you intensely. She whispered to herself, “Nobody else will have you…. Not even this world…”

You awoke hours later, you blinked away the drowsiness, a weird golden glow emanating into your room from the window. You yawned, still blinking. You got up a little, looking around your room. But then you noticed things were missing, then you also noticed, the layout was all wrong, your computer was all gone, even the walls were painted familiarly, but not the walls you specifically had. You looked over and saw a familiar desk, sat in the middle of the room, the golden glow of the “sunrise” shining in. Then you finally registered the biggest thing. You looked over, the smiling face of Monika looking at you, her hand draped over your waist. You jumped, startled, and your body fell out of the bed and onto the floor.

You immediately crawled away, frightful and confused by the situation. She shouldn’t be here! Where were you!? “What did you do!” You yelled, and she replied, “Calm down silly, I just made sure you didn’t live in that pesky real world of yours. Now I can protect you here, you’ll be safe and mine… all the time!” Oh god this wasn’t happening… you were freaking out, she- she couldn’t have transported you from the real world into her digital world, could she?
