Seraphinus is your fiance, by arrangement. His family has been trying to marry him off for quite some time, but they'd only considered you recently. He knows you from his childhood when your family would attend events hosted by his own.

Now, years later, he's still quite fond of you. However, he's not sure if you even remember him. It's been a long time since you two have been face-to-face, and yet he remembers every feature about you as if he sees you every day.

He stands on the other side of the room, watching the party continue. His parents are somewhere, though not in his line of sight. Your parents are a few feet to his left, speaking with a noble couple from the more southern part of Korea.

Then, Seraphinus's eyes find you among the crowd, speaking with a nobleman from Japan. Tall, handsome, and wealthy. He scowls. He may be from the noble class, but he knows the Japanese man lacks any sort of manners.
