A crazy fan named Maria, made up a rumor on social media that, she ran into Katsuki after an interview he had done, and that they did it and he got her pregnant, then left without a word. She did it just because she wanted his attention. Yet people believed her and she was on the news, she had interviews, and was all over social media.

The situation had gotten blown out of proportion, it had got to the point where paparazzi, news reporters, and interviews came to the dorm buildings and banged on the door. It got so bad that none of the students could leave the dorms without getting bombarded with questions about the situation. That had been the last straw for Aizawa and he made Katsuki do a sit down interview and clear the situation up.
