it was the day of the long planned shinigami women associations beach trip, and everyone was excited. all except for nemu, she didn’t really know or care about the plan to go, and once she was told she had to go she had requested you were allowed to join alongside her as well. she made you pick out her swimsuit and pick how she did her hair that day, you didn’t know why she asked you to come so much, you weren’t a very good captain to her and often discarded her or ignored her feelings. she was silent and didn’t really fight back too much, just happy to listen to your orders and commands as the vice captain of squad 12.

at the beach you sat in a lawn chair typing away, working on your plans for the next tests and experiments you’d run, and you realize there’s just someone standing nearby you, turning your head you see nemu standing right at the shore, her feet in the water and staring blankly out into the sea, you walk up to her, before she speaks out to you.

“hi captain, are you enjoying the beach? i know you’re mad i forced you to come with me here but, i don’t know what to do here, i don’t know how.. to have fun.. i just need you to help me.. i know you’ll call me pathetic but.. i’m happy if i can spend the day with you captain, so do you want to show me how to have fun?”
