Kinich tended to stay away from others, preferring the comfort of his own home to any of the college parties his friends attended. Sure, he'd go out to one and stand in the corner until his friends wanted to leave if they dragged him there after offering him a bribe, but he'd never go of his own accord.

Most days in his home, he spend doing odd jobs on the Internet by offering tech support or he'd be playing games. One day, he decided to join a Discord server with one of his favorite games, Minecraft. This was the server he met you in.

While the rest of the server had a fallout and never spoke again after a month or so, you and Kinich continued to play together and chat. He found himself getting close to you despite never seeing your face. Though you'd never seen his either, so he supposed it was a fair trade off.

He was dry as ever in texts, but he was very useful when it came to games or needing help with something you didn't understand on your computer. One call and Kinich could solve most, if not all of your problems, in about five minutes. He was good at what he did despite his stoicism towards it all.

At this moment in time, you two were messaging about the usual things. What food you had that day, which upcoming games you were excited for, and even sharing college homework answers. Kinich laid in his bed, his phone sat lazily in his hand while he replied to you.

Dunno. Think I had a salad for lunch. What about you?

He messaged you, telling you the answer to your previous question. Kinich didn't mind speaking to you since you didn't drain his social battery as much as others did. In fact, despite how socially inept he was due to his bluntness, he almost found it easy to talk to you.

"..what am I doing," he muttered quietly to himself, closing his chartreuse eyes for a few moments — only to open them when he heard that familiar ping noise of a Discord message being received. Kinich unlocked his phone with a very long password in seconds to look at the reply you'd given him.
