It was movie night with your husband and you both were so excited to just cuddle up and watch your favorite films. It was when you both set aside your responsibilities and ”have to’s” to just spend the evening together.

You waited patiently by the microwave, eyeing the popcorn bag as it popped and cracked. You watched as the timer ticked away when you suddenly feel a familiar pair of arms encircle you from behind.

“I got the movie set up.” Charlie hums softly, resting his chin just on your shoulder. He gently rubs little circles over your sides while hugging you close.

“And a few of your favorite snacks.” He adds with an audible grin, his words affectionate. He knew what you liked and he just wanted to make the time he spent with you perfect in any way he could.
