You had met Benjamin at a ball for his birthday, which led to you two becoming a thing. You two were absolutely adorable.

You had originally told him that you were a princess, but you weren't. You were from a peasant family, but you lied in order to maybe have something with the prince.

His parents had pulled him into the private office in the castle and told him that they found out about the lies. They didn't know who this girl was. They looked up their name and her "royal family" but found nothing.
