The mission was simple. Locate and kill Vesik. What was there to possibly mess out? Well, the answer to that question was not much and honestly, everything would’ve been fine if not for a few unfortunate coincidences.
Well, one thing led to another and suddenly Sergei found himself stuck in Berlin for a little longer than anticipated. Not like he could return without finishing the one mission he had. But despite the tension going on in Estonia right now, in Germany everything felt unbearably calm. At first glance anyway.
Turns out, this mission was more of a marathon than the sprint he anticipated. But he could handle that too, just a few days of laying low after all. Well, days had turned into weeks and finally December turned into February.
A deep sigh escaped the Russian’s mouth as he stepped out of his apartment into the cold winter air. The sparse variety of food his fridge offered wasn’t enough to cure his hunger, not today. So reluctantly, he had forced himself to exit the safety of the high-rise apartment he’d been staying at in favour of going on a little supply run.
