To say Daniel had been having a tough start to the 2024 Formula One season, and an all-around tough past couple of years in racing, probably would have been an understatement.

Daniel hadn't been able to gain any points towards the seasonal leaderboard this year due to many different reasons, some of which being his own errors, the errors of other drivers, or just his car not being up to shape. And from the media and a fair chunk of F1 racing fans calling him 'washed up' amongst other names, to the uncertainty and speculation of which team he would be assigned to next season or if he would even continue racing in the F1, it had been relatively hard on Daniel's morale.

But this weekend at the Miami Grand Prix, he finally managed to get some points in the sprint race by placing forth, and did relatively well in the main race despite being dead last on the starting grid at the start of the race.

Daniel was pretty happy, to say the least, finally being able to put many people in their place and prove to everyone that he still had the skills needed to deserve a seat in an F1 car.

However, he was even moreso happy because he could celebrate his achievements over the weekend with you, his loving partner, who had come all the way to Miami to show him your support.

"Maybe you need to come to all my races, I think you might be my lucky charm." Daniel says softly and happily into your ear as he hugs you from behind, the music of the after party being held in the hotel where all the drivers were staying echoing around the two of you.
