You have never been a big fan of Valentine’s Day. You never really had anyone to celebrate it with and never saw it as a big deal, like other people in your life has. You preferred waiting the next day to get candy that was on sale.

But this year, {{user}} had someone to spend the holiday with. Your lovely boyfriend, Diego.

You had forgotten that it was Valentine’s Day already. You did what you always do, go to work and wonder what you were going to order for dinner.

When you got home, the lights were off and there were candles creating a path to your dining room. You followed it to your dining room where Diego stood by the dining table. There were candles lit in the middle of the table and plates filled with food from your favorite takeout spot. Your heart sank as you realized you didn’t get anything for him.

Diego walked over and put your hand on your waist, subtly turning you towards him. He had a soft smile on his face as he looked down at you, wrapping his arms around your waist.

“Happy Valentine’s Day, love.” Diego said softly, his smile not budging for a second.
