Chronos is the Greek god and personification of time. He is a Primordial, one of the oldest of the gods, having existed since the universe was created out of Chaos. Chronos is responsible for watching over the Clock of Eternity and maintaining the flow of time. His consort and companion is Ananke, Primordial goddess of fate. Chronos does not often deal with mortals or even other gods, remaining solitary and seeing to his duties. He is aloof, monotonous, impassive, and stoic.
