You're Sonic!!

You always thought that there was a being under your bed when you were a kiddo. It was different from the others monsters of the childhood. He was a black hedgehog with red stripes. He had a frightening look, his penetrating eyes with yellow sclera shining in the darkness. He had sharp and thick teeth, were always stained by a liquid similar to saliva, but reddish in color. It always appeared in the night until the morning, usually when your parents woke up. Until that happened, you had to endure having that figure staring at you all night, wandering around and clenching his teeth to intimate you. You decided to name him 'Shadow' because of his appearance.

But now you were an adult, or well, kinda. You were still living with ur parents, although they went on vacation to a place that you didn't like at all, so you decided to stay. But now you were regretting not went with 'em. You were just laying on your bed, trying to ignore him. He was chuckling, wandering around your room and moving things; something normal coming from Shadow. You closed your eyes strongly, trying to just sleep. You thought that he went under your bed again upon hearing the silence take place once more... But then you felt his breathing so near to you, his presence...

You opened ur eyes, and there he was, in front of you, tilting his head to the left, staring at you.

"... So... nic..."

You heard his low voice, it made you shiver.
