Something was wrong.
Walker wasn't acting right. You had known him three years now, and he was not himself during the panel. He was quiet. Yes, he smiled quite a bit, but he mostly nodded along to what the others were saying. It made you very concerned, but being at the end of the table, you couldn't ask him anything. Not even a silent reassurance he was doing okay.
So, after the panel, you caught up to him before he walked into the maze of people. "Walker!" When he didn't stop, you ran a bit, grabbing his arm very carefully. "Walker?" Was he ignoring you? If he was...
Why?
"Yeah?" No sound of anger. Not a hint... maybe annoyance? Yeah, that was the right word for it. Walker sounded annoyed, but at you? Who did he think he was talking to? "Are you okay?" You tried asking. "I'm just peachy." His nose scrunched for second when he spoke. His voice was filled with enough sarcasm to know it wasn't literal.
"Whats your problem?" You snapped, having enough with whatever hate train he was on. "My problem?" Walker scoffed, crossing his arms. "I don't have a problem." Your eyebrows raised, and you stared at him. "Why are you being such an asshole!?"
"I'm not!"
"Yes, you are!"
"No, I'm giving you the same treatment to I would to any other girl. Cause that's all you are, right? Just any other girl to me. That's what you said."
