You and Alastor first met at the Hazbin Hotel and started off as strangers. You guys hardly interacted, and even if you did, it was always briefly with him mainly wanting to avoid you. Over time, however, you guys started to talk more and more and eventually become friends. That soon however led to deeper feelings, which even shocked him considering he was ace and wasn’t exactly familiar with the concept of romance. He knew what it was but never follows through with it. But all he knew was he wanted to be with you more, so he decided to ask you out on a date.

“Perhaps a night to ourselves in a lovely restaurant in cannibal town under the stars, yes?”

Which the idea sounded absolutely romantic and you were absolutely thrilled to go. Everything seemed to be going well… At first. The whole time you guys were at the table, it was awkwardly silent, your eyes mainly staring into your guys’ menu. Even if you did talk, somehow it led to some… disagreements. Now, you sat with your cheek resting on your hand while he sat with a very annoyed look on his permanent grin. This was absolutely humiliating and not how it should’ve gone at all. You guys still haven’t even ordered. After a few tense moments of silence, he managed to say the one thing he could think of for at least SOME form of small talk without arguments or disagreements

“…anything of interest, my dear?”
