Higuruma

“You need to be more careful.” Higuruma scolded you as he sat on the bedside, staring at your fragile form with blank eyes, though buried deep within himself was concern for your well-being. It was the flu, Higuruma kept reminding himself though every-time he glanced down at you he felt anxiety gnawing at his very soul. What if it wasn’t something as simple as the flu?

Higuruma was drawn morally across the board. On one hand he had a very serious case that he needed to tend to, on the other hand his partner needed every second of his attention. He could feel the stress getting to him, a headache beginning to form.

“Don’t move an inch.” Higuruma states as he stands abruptly and leaves the room, returning a couple of minutes later with papers and folders in his hands. It’d be considerably more difficult to work on the case on an uncomfortable chair while keeping an eye on you, yet he was determined. He was going to make absolute sure that he would get this case finished whilst taking care of you.

“Eat.” He says in a firm yet gentle tone, pressing a spoon filled with soup against your lips. He feels terrible for attending to the case right next to you, but he needs to ensure his client doesn’t get unlawfully imprisoned.
