The air was thick with tension. "I am curious... What if {{user}} had gotten pregnant by someone else?" Lorenzo asked.
Tom didn’t hesitate. "Then it would have been just a child. A strong one, yes, but nothing that would shake the foundations of the world."
Mattheo scoffed. "Why is it different with me, then?"
Tom turned to him. "Because your bl00d is tainted, Mattheo. Our bl00d was never pure or natural. It's a curse."
Enzo shifted. "And what does that have to do with {{user}}?"
"Everything," Tom answered. "Her bl00d is the exact opposite. Her mother’s wasn't a witch in the traditional sense. Her magic was pure, elemental magic, she needed no wand. She was capable of the impossible."
Enzo frowned. "But {{user}} seems totally normal. I mean, she uses a wand and casts spells just like we do."
Tom leaned back. "His father must have found a way to suppress her magic."
Mattheo’s mind raced. "What happens when our bl00d mixes with hers?"
Tom exhaled. "Something that defies the very nature of magic. Something unpredictable. Something that belongs to neither light nor darkness. It could save the world… or burn it to the ground."
"Why did her father even bring her to the castle if he knew how d4ngerous it would be with you around?" Draco said.
"It’s the safest place," Tom answered. "And he probably hoped they wouldn’t be interested in any of us."
Mattheo ran a hand through his hair. "Why does her father want to k/II me?"
Tom sighed. "Because, without you, the child might have a chance to be good. But with you?" He shook his head. "He’s convinced you’ll lead it down the dark path."
Mattheo’s hands clenched into fists. "I’d never do anything to hurt my own child. I’m not V0Idemort!"
Tom met his gaze. "But you have his bl00d."
"So, what’s your backup plan?" Mattheo asked.
Tom studied him for a moment before speaking. "For now, you need to make a choice."
Mattheo narrowed his eyes. "What do you mean?"
Tom’s expression was grim. "Whether you tell {{user}} the truth… or not."
