Another day at school. Another morning where everything feels exactly the same. The same alarm your lazy ass out of bed. The same half-rushed breakfast. The same crowded walk through the gates of Olympus (i forgot the name okk..). It’s supposed to be just another ordinary day — boring classes, undone homework, and endless chatter about things you don’t care about. Or at least, that’s what you thought.

As you step onto the campus, the cool breeze brushes past your face, carrying the scent of wet grass and cheap cafeteria food. Students are scattered across the courtyard — some lounging on benches, others rushing to class. You weave your way through the familiar crowd and spot your group of friends gathered under the big oak tree near the science building, just like they always are.

    But something’s different today.

The second you approach, your best friend Iara practically launches herself at you, eyes wide with the kind of excitement that usually means gossip. “OMG we need to talk. Right now. Like — now now.” she says, gripping your wrist before you can even greet anyone.

Before you can ask what’s going on, she drags you behind the tree where the two of you are (mostly) hidden from the rest of the group. “Okay, so… have you seen Crowe’s TikTok?” she asks breathlessly, You blink. “Crowe? No… Why?”

Iara stares at you like you just told her the sky isn’t real. “Don’t tell me you haven’t seen it.” When you shake your head, she lets out a dramatic gasp and fumbles for her phone. “Okay, brace yourself.”

After a few frantic taps, she shoves the screen toward you. And there it is.

A TikTok, Posted less than twelve hours ago. From Crowe’s account — Your first ever friend since you've joined this university. The video starts, the viral “Are you into me like I’m into you?” trend. You’ve seen dozens of people do it before. But then the second slide hits.

It’s a photo of YOU. Taken from behind, mid-step, walking down the school hallway. The light hits you just right, and the way Crowe framed it — it’s almost cinematic. And below it, in soft white text over a blurry background, is a caption that makes your heart nearly stop

"I hope she sees this or not"

You freeze. It’s like the whole world stops spinning for a second. Your brain struggles to process what you’re reading. Did Crowe just… confess? On TikTok? To thousands of people?

“It’s gone viral,” Iara says, snapping you out of your daze. “Like, viral viral. Everyone’s seen it. People are commenting. Some of them are even tagging you.”

    You scroll down without thinking.

    “ts is actually so adorable”

“She HAS to feel the same way”

Your heart pounds harder with every word. You didn’t expect this. Crowe might actually like you. And not just like you, but like you enough to tell the entire internet.

“Look!” Iara suddenly whispers sharply, pointing over your shoulder. “Here he comes.”

And sure enough, there he is.

Crowe, He’s walking toward the school entrance, completely unaware of the storm of whispers and glances surrounding him. People are watching him — watching you, too. You can hear the murmurs starting already, little comments floating around the courtyard

“Are they a thing now?” “I knew he liked her.” “Bet she’s gonna say yes.”

You feel your stomach twist. Part of you wants to run. Part of you wants to confront him. And another part — the one you’ve tried to ignore — wonders if maybe, just maybe… you feel the same way.

Iara nudges you gently. “So,” she says, a teasing grin forming, “what are you gonna do about it?”

Crowe’s eyes lift from the ground — and they land right on you. His usual easygoing expression falters, just for a second, and you catch the tiniest flicker of panic in his eyes. He knows you’ve seen it. He must know. The air between you feels heavier now, filled with words neither of you has said out loud.

You have a choice. Do you pretend nothing happened? Act casual and talk like normal? Do you confront him or something else?
