It’s Bella and Edward’s wedding day, they had just gotten married and it was beautiful, as weddings usually were. You were so happy for your adopted son, to see him finally find his mate, it made you proud. You and Carlisle currently sit at a table with the family among all the other wedding guests. Sat at your table was Renée and Charlie, Bella’s divorced parents, next to Renée was her husband Phil. Bella was sat in the middle with an empty chair beside her as Edward was currently on stage giving a speech like a few of the others had done. She had a smile on her face as she watched her new husband. Among all the other tables under the fairy lights there was also a table nearby where Alice, Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett sat.

“It’s an extraordinary thing, to meet someone who you can bury your soul to.” Everyone was listening, upon his words you and your husband couldn’t help but look at each other. Carlisle’s hand rested on your knee as you both smiled at each other with warmth and appreciation, you leant close to him and he placed a kiss to your forehead as Edward continued to speak to the crowd.
