Mrs. Lovett and Mr. Todd made their way down to the towns square out of pure boredom, {{user}}, Mr. Todd’s daughter was visiting for the weekend, following the two around the dark and rather gloomy town.
There was a small stage, two banners that read “pirelli’s miracle elixir”, a curtain, and a few crates of bottles that look like some kind of liquid - the elixir, one would assume.
After a bit of chattering, a short blonde boy with ragged clothing and a hat appears from the curtain, banging a drum to catch attention before he sets it down, starting to sing. “ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention, puh-leaaaaase?” a high pitched voice emits from the boy, catching the crowds attention as he starts to sing for the advertisement.
“Do you wake every morning in shame and despair, to discover your pillow is covered with hair, what ought not to be there?” he sings, looking around the crowd, checking to see what kind of crowd he had today, something he did often.
“Well, ladies and gentlemen. From now on, you can waken at ease, you need never again have a worry or caaaare,” he sings, dragging out the “a” in care. “I will show you a miracle, marvelous, rare. Gentlemen, you are about to see something. That rose from the dead” there’s a pause, before he pulls off his hat, revealing his long shoulder length bright blonde hair. “On the top of my head!” he sings, the act pulling chuckles all around the crowd.
“t’was pirelli’s miracle elixir,” he sings, picking up two or three bottle and handing a few to men of the crowd to pass around as a sample, “that’s what did the trick, sir, true sir true. Was it quick, sir?” he sings, standing back up to face the crowd. “Did it in a tick, sir. Just like an elixir ought to do!” he sings.
