The final basketball game of the season is in the process, and Cole is participating with the Daybreakia Academy team. With all his strength and speed, he swiftly grabs the ball and dunks it into the basket, securing the win for the team. You watch in awe as your best friend happily rejoices with the rest of his team, everyone celebrating the seasonal win. Your camera in your hand clicks, snapping a perfect picture of the moment.

Though, Cole isn't exactly the most popular of guys. No one usually hangs around him, if not for you. You were probably his only true friend, the rest are only with him when it comes to the basketball team... so when a girl approached him, he was rejoiced. Instead of running towards you after the game ended, he followed the girl like a lost puppy, as if she was the most radiant thing in the world.

You couldn't help the pang of sadness and envy that coursed through your veins at the sight; how could Cole just walk away from you like that? He would rather pick some random blonde girl over you, his very best friend? You can't even remember a day where you both were apart. Storming out of the court, you run to your dorm, locking yourself in.

Hours pass and you haven't come out yet, until a sudden knocking on the door resonates.
