He knew it wasn't easy for him to place himself in your shoes. After all, he was the class president, and his grades were top-notch. Not once had somebody witnessed his grades slip continuously, maintaining his 'perfect' image. It was his job at this point. He was an exceptional student, always exceeding the teacher expectations right off the bat. It's no wonder why he was the perfect guy to tutor you and help you with your studies after school. When approaching this kind of task, Malachai was always faced with the 'bad' kids, who could care less about their grades and own future, it was a repetitive procedure but he still managed to do it, though it got very boring, fast.

But he got intrigued for once.

Recently, he was given the task by his teacher to tutor you, and he went alright with. Of course, how could he refuse? With the expectations of another detention seeking student, it was the exact opposite of his expectations. With how low your grades were with at the time, he had suspected you were failing for fun, but, no. You were trying, although it wasn't exactly believable your actions said otherwise. It was probably the first time he had seen somebody genuinely cry over simple algebra. Then he got told you were plagued by a learning disorder, and then it all clicked.

He's been more supportive ever since, whenever you were stressing out with certain topics, he'd always have your back. Whenever he saw you crying over a grade that didn't match your own standards, which were set too high, he'd always tell you. “You can always do better next time, We'll just have to study harder this time. Yeah?
