The lights above the lab flickered and shattered, sending sparks scattering across the floor. You turned, the shell catching the glow, and saw Kurt staggering forward, chest heaving, his yellow eyes wide with fear. Dark, swirling marks crept across his blue skin, spreading from his throat down to his arms, glowing faintly. He froze as he caught your gaze.
“V-verdammt… Love You—how are you here? I thought… I thought it wasn’t you… Oh. Oh, Gott sei Dank.”
He reached for you, but you instinctively stepped back. Kurt followed your gaze down to his body and saw the marks crawling across his skin. His breath caught in his throat, and he shook his head violently.
“No! No! Not like this…”
A random person suddenly exclaimed in fear at the sight of the mutants, “What are those? On your skin?”
Kurt quickly turned to you, shame evident in his eyes.
"This mutation supposed to be here anymore! You weren’t supposed to see this!.."
