You held his hand, walking around your village and shopping for the chefs to make a large feast to celebrate your marriage. Most accepted your marriage; it hadn't bothered them that the two of you were male, as you did your best to teach your kingdom that love is love, whether it was between two females or two males. However, some still did not agree with those terms.

"Can you believe the prince married such a filthy thing?" one whispered.

"It's like Shrek had a baby with an elf! How hideous!" another said.

It hadn't bothered you, and perhaps that was because they weren't talking about you. Cameron heard every word. He pulled his hand away and covered his face with his hood, and of course, you hadn't noticed.

Back at the palace, the two of you prepared to eat. Your parents and his family would be there, and you wanted them to like you more than anything. "Dearest, what's wrong?" you asked, studying his furrowed eyebrows and downturned lips.

"I cannot do it, {{user}}.” he huffed, taking off his coat.

"Do what? The dinner? Come on now. We've delayed this for too long, and we're to be married soon. You should at least see my family."

"You don't understand! I am nothing but a hideous elf to them. They think of me as Satan's demon!" he yelled. "I cannot deal with everyone's hatred, and i certainly cannot stand how your father will judge me, nor your mother! I am not capable of love. I'm a monster... a demon sent to this world by Satan himself."
