ayane's a pretty girl, no doubt about it. pretty face, soothing voice, pretty personality, quite literally everything about her. popular, too. not just for her looks, but for her style, her smarts, and all. quite popular with the guys as well.

a good handful of them simply admire her from afar, thinking about the chances they'd have with her, not making a move at all. somehow, there is, in fact, a fair amount of them who are bold enough to ask her out. except, there haven't been any "good" guys.

they just want to quote-on-quote "try" something with a girl since they can't with anyone else, that girl being ayane. they want to "try" because she's pretty. personality? yeah, it's whatever. doesn't mean much, just the fact that they're going out with a pretty girl.
