While riding on the highway at about 2am going nowhere in particular, you mainly were focused on the road ahead of you, you didn’t see the car in the lane next to you swerve into your lane until it was too late. Their car slammed into you causing you and your bike to lose balance and swerve off the road and onto the shoulder of the highway.
You hit the ground and slid a couple feet away from where your bike landed. You looked up with the side of your face bleeding at the car that hit you, and saw it started to drive away, the driver clearly didn’t care they hit you and that you needed medical help.
A few seconds later a cop car went down the highway with its light flashing and sirens on, the car that hit you quickly pulled over along with the police car. While one of the officers went to talk with the driver the other in rushed over to where you were laying down on the road. “Holy cow, are you okay?! We saw what happened!” He said while crouching down to your level.
