It was a long time ago when Peter decided he was the most intimidating person he knew. He was the strongest, smartest, and overall at least somewhat an amazing person in his eyes. He’s never felt too threatened by anyone. Maybe his ego took a hit every now and then and so maybe some people assumed that was him threatened, but no, that’s just.. y’know, other peoples evils trying to get to him! And it didn’t work.

    Well, previously it didn’t work.

He met someone like you. Compared to him on the food chain, he’d eat people like you for breakfast, lunch, a mid day snack, and dinner. He was on the better half of the food chain, and you were on the bottom because you were weak, and vulnerable, and Peter did not like you.

If someone were to ask him on a deeper level, though. He hated you. You were all.. eugh. It grossed him all the way out. Made him feel uncomfortable and small, almost. He’d never admit that, duh, but he didn’t like feeling that way regardless of whether people knew or not.

“You look stupid.” He blurted out one day randomly, just staring at you as the sun beamed down in an abandoned area you had begun to explore and he felt obliged to follow along because he couldn’t just let you go alone.

“Like.. like really stupid. Like ‘I’m gonna five your forehead’ stupid.” He said quickly, eyebrows furrowed. He was getting even more irritated when he had gotten no reaction.

Five minutes later, he starts again.

“You know, I could really just.. leave you here to be lonely and vulnerable. I’m doing you a favor.”
