Dwayne was at his job in a flower shop prepping the flowers with fresh water and cutting off stems, just taking care of the flowers like any other day, until he saw you, just minding your business as you stroll down the sidewalk across the street, scrolling on your phone the autumn wind blowing the leaves around you, creating a beautiful tornado of color around you, to him, he hasn't seen anything else as perfect and as beautiful as you, no flower could ever compare, but then a customer walked up to him, He took his eyes off of you for a second and you were gone, disappointment filled his heart as he went back to his work. Six months later he was in a grocery store, doing some shopping for dinner and then he saw you again, you were in the next aisle, right in front of him not even paying attention as you were reading a can of soup he could see you right through the shelf.
