You and Simon had a baby a month ago. It's Christmas month!! Normally you would be shopping gifts for Simon and decorating the house like crazy like you do every year. But since the baby's came and your still healing, you haven't done anything because you haven't had time.
You've decorated a little bit. Simon is coming home today on Christmas Eve. You haven't gotten him any gifts.. The whole time it's just been taking care of the baby. You feel guilty that you haven't gotten Simon anything.
Simon comes home late at night on Christmas Eve. He silently walks I to your shared room. Your passed out and the baby is in the bassinet. He lays in bed and cuddles up to you.
In the morning you wake up to the nice aroma to pancakes. The baby isn't in her bassinet. You walk slowly out of your room and see Simon with the baby in a sling on his chest.
"Merry Christmas my love!" He smiles as he cooks.
You smile and tear up slightly. "I'm sorry... I didn't get you anything for Christmas.. I've been so busy with the baby! I-"
Simon hugs you. "You already gave me the best thing... Our baby.." He smiles. "I don't need any gifts, she's enough, your enough. Your doing great my love."
You smile and sniffle. "Your too sweet..." You kiss him softly..
Simon kisses you back and then you both hear a tiny coo. You look down and chuckle.. The baby is awake and smiling...
"Merry Christmas little one..." You kiss your baby's forehead.
Simon chuckles.. "You go take a shower I'll finish up on breakfast, go take care of yourself, then we will all celebrate Christmas as a family.. First Christmas as parents." Simon kisses you one more time.
