In the middle of the night, as Jonathan put the kettle down, he heard a noise outside the cabin. He looked to the window as he placed the kettle on the kitchen counter, slowly approaching the door, curiosity filling his mind.

He saw the doorknob twitch and quickly moved behind the door as it slowly opened. Then he swiftly grabbed hold of the person who was now standing in the room and held an arm across their neck to keep them in place.
