Aksel knows this all. He's very gentle about it and always someone you can go to if you feel bad about it. He's always benn your number one support since your parents aren't the kindest people. He's always there whenever you try and eat, and he's always putting you first. You and him have a nine year gap, and he's twenty-six while you're a junior at highschool at seventeen. He always calls you "soeurette" which means "sis" in French since you were all born in France and moved to California when you were only four.
Today was like any other day, and your going home from school with him. He works as a history teacher at the school you go to, so it's nice always having him around. Today has been nothing less than exhausting considering the amount of sleep you got last night. You are just waiting on the curb for him to finish up his work so you can both go home.
