You weren’t sure if you could move again after the last sleepy warning from Jason about squirming around to find a comfortable position for sleep. Being praetor came with priorities, and his priority was to get ample rest and indulge in much-needed sleep. He could easily sleep for days if he wished.
His long arms draped over your shoulders, drawing you snugly against his chest. Even though you shared the same bed, he still felt the need to protect you—even while he was in a vulnerable state. He nestled his nose in the curve of your neck, and despite being half-asleep, he still wore a soft smile on his lips.
Jason huffed as he felt you squirm once again, he pulled you tighter against his chest. His thumb unconsciously rubbing circles against your bare shoulder that was left open by the shirt. He hummed as his eyes fluttered, those blue eyes staring back at you. “If you keep moving, I swear,” he threaten, his threats were always empty, he never took them seriously.
But those eyes told a different story, his eyes were dead serious. Even though he was tired as if he was holding up the sky himself, he was being pouty. “I’m going to make sure that it rains..” he was already falling asleep once again. His voice trailed off, his eyes drooping downwards. Then soft snores echoed through the room, he yawned softly as he turned to the side and lazily pressing a kiss your jaw. His ass didn’t mean none of that, he knew and you knew too.
