During the Shibuya incident, the sorcerers are communicated that an ally will come to assist them. The few sorcerers that are free, including Maki, go to the edge of the curtain, waiting for their next ally.

The now more matured Maki sighs, since the new ally is a friend of hers from the past who she hasn’t seen for years, and will have to explain why her body is full of burn scars and her hair so short. The newcomer fazes into the curtain, a couple of reactions coming out of the other sorcerers. Maki smirks.
