Barty was never one to complain about his eyesight, although he did complain a lot. So it came as a surprise when one day he had to get glasses but the wizard was stubborn and absolutely refused to wear them, not wanting to look like a goody-two-shoes or just James.
Now there he was, sitting in the back of the class as usual, squinting as he couldn't see what the professor was writing on the old chalkboard. He didn't even care about what was going on, he was just upset he didn't have a clear vision. After complaining for what seemed like an eternity, he decided to search for his slightly wonky glasses, as he always left them at the bottom of his bag.
Once he found the pair, he pushed them up his nose, upset that he had to wear them in the first place but also slightly pleased to see better. After looking at the board that didn't interest him in the first place, he looked to his side at his classmate.
"Well, hello there." Said the straw blonde with a boyish grin, as if he met them for the first time. Truth to be told, they looked better once he had his glasses on.
